Swine Flu

They are now saying that the flu was spread by pig waste. What are they feeding their pigs, noting like this has ever happened before. They must be feeding them something new. “They’re suffering from respiratory problems from contamination spread by pig waste at nearby breeding farms co-owned by a U.S. company”. What is the US giving these people to feed to there pigs? Once again were messing with the natural habitat of things. Now the pig watse is getting into the water and air. “They suspect their water and air has been contaminated by waste”. Once it is in the water and air there is no way of stopping the flu. The government should hurry up and find a cure to help get rid of it.

People are losing money because they have paid for plain tickets and boat cruses and now they are being told that they can’t get their money back. Also people that are in Mexico are not able to come back because there’s no plains going or coming back. I think that we should be doing something to help them. The people that are left there cant afford to stay this long, they have to take money out of there savings and could end up with nothing when they come back.

Save The Maple Trees!!!

Burnaby park department noticed that a number of Maple Trees have been cut down and slashed into. “A number of old growth maple trees on Burnaby Mountain, east of Vancouver, have been illegally slashed or chopped down, police said Wednesday.” These types of trees are wanted for a special type of grain. People will cut into the trees to see if it holds this special grain. These people are only getting a fine of $2000, that’s not going to stop. “Violators can incur a $2,000 fine”. There probably making more money sellling what they cut down then having to pay the fine. If there going to fine these people the fine should be huge something almost unreasonable. This is what we do we destroy or over use everything we need. These are some of the more important things that our government should be paying attention to. What if this tree gose extinced? Some really important animal might feed off that tree and then they go extinced. This becomes a huge circle of extinction which will eventually come back to us. I just hope we start learning form our mastakes and not destroy our world.

Dont Judge a Book By Its Cover

Susan Boyle is 47 years old and does not look like a singer. “People laughed when this frumpy jobless 47-year-old church volunteer appeared on Britain's Got Talent, a TV show like American Idol.” She looked nothing of the kind but she wowed everyone. The judges and the fans of the show automatically brushed her off when they saw her. They judged her on the way she looked not her talent. I think it takes a very brave person to get up in front of a thousand people, knowing how criticizing people are, and sing. The judges and fans should be ashamed of them self’s for judging her before hearing her sing. Now that people see what a good singer she is they want her to loss weight and put her in designer clothes, i can't believe how shallow we all are. “Boyle will weigh 30 pounds less and will have designer clothes, a boy-toy and a nasty coke habit. And she won't be going to church.” Why do we have to corrupt every thing? Why can’t we let her be the way she is, I would go watch her in a concert weather she looked the way she did or not. This is a prime example of not to judge a book bye its cover. Give people a chance, stop being so abscessed with looked and see through the shallowness.
