Save The Maple Trees!!!

Burnaby park department noticed that a number of Maple Trees have been cut down and slashed into. “A number of old growth maple trees on Burnaby Mountain, east of Vancouver, have been illegally slashed or chopped down, police said Wednesday.” These types of trees are wanted for a special type of grain. People will cut into the trees to see if it holds this special grain. These people are only getting a fine of $2000, that’s not going to stop. “Violators can incur a $2,000 fine”. There probably making more money sellling what they cut down then having to pay the fine. If there going to fine these people the fine should be huge something almost unreasonable. This is what we do we destroy or over use everything we need. These are some of the more important things that our government should be paying attention to. What if this tree gose extinced? Some really important animal might feed off that tree and then they go extinced. This becomes a huge circle of extinction which will eventually come back to us. I just hope we start learning form our mastakes and not destroy our world.
