“There are few issues more controversial in Canada and around the world than the annual seal hunt that takes place in the waters and on the ice floes off Atlantic Canada.” These poor seals are being beaten alive and then skined alive. The hunters dont check to see if there alive or dead before they skin the poor things. Why are we just starting to do somehting about this? Why have we not done anything about this before?
“You could have taken on the opportunity to make a beter living of it, tourisme, transporting tourists to see the seals, sell expensive pictures... Just as whales in Australia are more worth alive than dead.” I think this is a great statment and i one hundred percent agree with it. Why are we providing money for killing seals instead of for keeping them alive? We could be making profite off of this by selling beautiful pictures and making it a fun experence to go see them. We still have a chance to do this; we should be trying to help this situation not destroy it.
They are also saying that they want to use the seal skin for the Olympics. There going to make suits out of the skin. I think that’s cruel and I hope that no one allows this.
